Jean is our surrogate mother while we are at Babson. She does everything from organising days out, transport and food to making sure we all have the right immigration paperwork and all the cases we need to read. Jean and Bob very kindly invited us round to their home for a BBQ - and a great time was had by all.

Beer, chips, dips and the biggest prawns you ever saw!
A rare group photo of all 14 fellows.
Shooting some hoops in the street. Check out Paul (on the right)...
Sorry Paul, I just can't let this go. I have never seen anything quite so camp in my life!
Score!
Lesley looks exhausted, but James still has a spring in his step.
David levitates a football.
It's not going in James...
A ping-pong tournament gets going in the garage.
Mubbasher is the king of this sport...
...so James and Verna don't stand much chance...
...until Mubbasher tries to catch the ball in his mouth!
Jean joins in with the hoop-shooting.
Jim dribbling in a different way from usual.
Competition is getting pretty intense.
Blocking tactics.
Meanwhile Bob is cooking swordfish on the BBQ...
...it's a tough job, but someone has to do it.
Mubbasher shoots for the hoop...
...and shoots again...
...and again...
...and finally scores!
Martyn gets airborne with his attempt!
The swordfish is ready and looks fabulous, so it's time to eat.
After the cold of winter it's lovely to be able to eat outside.
As dark falls it starts to get a bit cold...
...or should I say cool!
Home made brownies for dessert...
...or home made applie pie.
I opt for the applie pie and ice cream as it is quintessentially American. It was DELICIOUS. I had to follow it with a small brownie though - I couldn't let them go untasted...
Blueberry pie - I managed to restrain myself from trying this too and making it three desserts in one evening!
The much anticipated epic - Bob vs. Mubbasher
Bob is playing at home...
...but it appears to be Mubbasher who has his eye in...
...as a capacity crowd watches with bated breath.
Jean and Leslie.
Paul dozes off on Verna. Bless. It's a bit late for a man of his age I suppose (it's 9pm)
Ian is wide awake after a big mug of coffee.
Leslie and Martyn.
James "high roller" Murray.
