Caerlaverock Castle

We visited Caerlaverock Castle on the way to see Ruth's parents...

	The view as you approach
	I love this castle for it's moat - most moats have been drained but not here.
	I think it makes that castle much more attractive and imposing.

	All that remains of the back wall. It was demolished after a seige in 1640 to prevent the castle from being held again.
	This South Tower was originally going to be my Blip...
	... but Ruth framing it up made a great picture too!
