A wee jaunt up for some wreck diving from Lossiemouth. We had hoped to dive the WWII submarine Tantivy, but the weather conspired against us. Still, some lovely diving...

The forests near Lossiemouth looked very pretty in the low sun as I drove up.

According to Brian the boiler tubes on this wreck are full of Tompot Blennies. Er, where?

A pollack tries to escape my camera.

If I open this valve, does the sea run out like a bath emptying? Best not touch it...

Weather conditions dictated just one dive today, we we went for a walk at Covesea Skerries Lighthouse.

Judit clambers into a gorse bush to get the best angle.

The sky looks a little threatening...

This light has funny structures to limit the angle of the beam, and make it look different colours from different places.

Judit finds a rock to stand on to take pictures.

The bow of the Unity.

|
The Unity has been down about 25 years and is in about 20m of water - so she's coated in life.

Our steed for the weekend - Top Cat. We were the last divers to use her - the next day she was sold and taken to the south coast for fishing trips. Thanks for the trip Bill, and good luck with your new ventures!
