Ripples on the beach at Gruinard Bay. It is best known for the island out there which was contaminated with Anthrax during biological warfare experiments in the Second World War . It is advertised as having pink sand beaches. The sand is pinker than usual, but I'm not sure I would have noticed if I hadn't read the tourist propaganda before visiting.
